Candy Floss Machine User Instructions

Please ensure that the machine is given back to us in a clean condition.

  1. Fill spinning head assembly with sugar mix
  2. Switch on motor switch.
  3. Switch on heater switch and turn to position 9.
  4. When floss starts to produce, turn heater control down to required setting to produce correct texture of floss i.e. setting 5-7.
  5. Guide to texture. The lower the setting, the finer is the floss produced
  6. After initial filling of head with sugar mix it is not necessary to stop the machine to fill head with sugar. Just top up head when required. It is recommended to top up every 8-10 floss to ensure correct balance of head at all times.
  7. When immediate sale of floss has finished, turn heater control down to approximately setting three, which will keep the head warm but not hot enough to melt the sugar.
  8. When a further sale is required, turn heater control to previous setting and instant candy floss will be produced.
  9. At the end of days production
    1. Top up head assembly with sugar. Turn heater control off and allow two minutes for cooling.
    2. Turn motor switch off
    3. Remove bowl from machine to wash and dry then replace.
    4. Cover head assembly with polythene bag overnight
  10. There are many ways of collecting floss, once formed, from around the inside of the bowl. The following method may assist you in the successful operation of your new Kando.
    1. Between operating instructions 3 and 4, damp a circle around the inside of the bowl where the candy floss will be formed. This will ensure a quick key forming around the bowl.
    2. When a yarn of floss is produced, place the stick under the floss and lift over the head and out of the bowl. By turning the stick, the yarn of floss will collect around the stick.
    3. Return the stick with the yarn of floss back into the side of the bowl and collect a further yarn of floss, which will be turned ground the original yarn by again turning the stick, Continue this method until he desired size is achieved.
